Darkness...that was all he could see. It all happened so fast, so sudden, but yet he fell into the trap. Who was his kidnapper? What was the trap? It all started when the young prince was out in front of his castle, on his personal beach taking a stroll. He had a lot to think about, since his marriage was to be the next day.
At the same time, the prince remembered meeting a beautiful young girl around his age with long dirty blond hair and aqua colored eyes in the same spot he was. Her long hair fanned out as she laid there in silence. It seemed as if the young girl was washed up and had no place to go. He took her in, cared for her, even allowed her to live with him...but she never spoke. Yesterday she disappeared from the castle, from his eyes...but he couldn't comprehend what had happened to her.
But here he was, remembering those times. He fought back, bringing his arms above his head and moving them frantically to bring himself above the water, back to shore. But that wasn't be, the attacker only held him tighter pulled him down more and more, as he received fatal scratches and wounds from them. He cried out in pain, but his screams only came out as gurgles and were blocked from his ears.
The prince knew he couldn't give up just yet, he had to fight back! He put his arms on the attacker's shoulders to push himself out of the water, only for the attacker to scratch him back down. The blood loss was starting the affect the prince as he drifted in and out of consciousness. There was a long deep gash across his chest, as well as two smaller ones on each of his arms. He was about to close his eyes when something caught his attention.
A long golden fish tail was waving under him, his eyes followed where the tail lead...only to find out that he was being attacked by the young woman whom disappeared. She wasn't her entire self any longer...she was a mermaid. A mermaid who was taking him down to the ocean with her. He was no longer fighting back...and she knew it.
The only thing that mattered was, "If I can't be part of your world, you'll be part of mine then."
